Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), a leader in art and design education, partnered with 12twenty to implement a customized platform that catered to the unique needs of their creative community. The goal was to enhance operational efficiency, boost student engagement, and streamline the overall management of career services.

Challenges

Customization Needs: RISD required a platform that could be tailored to meet the specific demands of their creative disciplines, ensuring both functionality and aesthetic appeal.


Complex Approvals: The school needed an efficient system to manage experiential learning approvals across 22 majors, each with 154 unique approval configurations.


Event Management: Managing large-scale career fairs and on-campus interviews for over 1,000 students and 200 companies was a challenge, necessitating a more efficient and less stressful process.

The platform efficiently managed 154 unique approval configurations across 22 majors, streamlining the approval process and ensuring all experiential learning requirements were met.

The OCI Lottery and Virtual Interview Command Center were introduced to ease the stress of managing large-scale career events, improving the experience for students and employers alike.


Centralized Operations

RISD centralized its Career Center activities, utilizing integrated reporting tools that enhanced operational efficiency and allowed for more informed, timely decision-making.
